Efforts to rebuild the Rabbit Hash General Store after a fire earlier this month got a boost from Duke Energy.
The company presented a $25,000 check Tuesday to the owners of the store.
The landmark general store burned down in a Feb. 13 fire that began in the roof of the business.
The store had been in operation since 1831 and was on the National Register of Historic Places.
Duke Energy's check is just the latest in the effort to rebuild.
Online, a Go Fund Me page has raised more than $54,000.
