A Chicago man is accused of shooting another man in the back and paralyzing him last month on Kings Run Drive.
John White III, 23, is held without bond at the Hamilton County jail on a felonious assault charge and is scheduled to face a judge Tuesday.
He was arrested Monday in connection with the Jan. 24 shooting during a police investigation at a Shell gas station on Hopple Street, court records show.
Cincinnati police said they found a .40-caliber handgun "ready at hand" in a 2008 Ford Taurus.
White is prohibited from having a gun due to a 2012 felony robbery conviction, they wrote in court records.
He now faces gun charges.
