MASON, OH (FOX19) -

A Mason teen is facing drug charges following a one-month long investigation by the Warren County Drug Task Force.

Investigators say 18-year-old Logan Fitzpatrick was arrested for trafficking LSD and other designer drugs.

"It got our attention quickly because of the age of the suspect and the amounts of these drugs. It was pretty significant in our opinion," said Major Steve Arrasmith.

According to Arrasmith, the investigation started in January after detectives received a tip indicating Fitzpatrick was trafficking throughout Mason and Deerfield Township.

"This is a great place to live and I always feel very comfortable and protected here, but it's today's world and that's what we have to deal with as parents to make sure that our kids stay safe," said Shawn Lenney, a Deerfield Township resident with kids.

Arrasmith said Fitzpatrick sold undercover officers bulk amounts of LSD and a synthetic designer drug known as "25C."
