UC police alert students to sex offense on campus

University of Cincinnati Police sent an alert to students Wednesday warning them of a sexual offense reported on campus involving a UC student.

According to the alert sent to the UC community, UC Police received a report of a sexual offense that happened on Feb. 5 at approximately 3 a.m. inside an academic building on UC's Uptown campus.

The subject entered a room occupied by the victim and committed a sexual offense, according to UC Police.

They say the victim, a UC student, reported seeing the suspect several times during the Fall 2015 semester.

The subject is described as a white male, 5-feet-10-inches tall, 18-20 years old, with a thin build, shoulder length brown hair and rectangular shaped glasses.

Anyone with information about the incident or the suspect is asked to contact UC Police at 513-556-1111.
