I-71 lane closures in Warren County Thursday

DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Construction on new Socialville Foster Road overpass will close lanes overnight on northbound Interstate 71 Thursday night and early Friday.

The left lanes will shut down in both directions 8 p.m. March 3 until 6 a.m. March 4.

The two-lane bridge is being transformed into one with four lanes and sidewalks.

Then, on March 14, Socialville Foster Road will shut down for about 10 months as construction continues.

Motorists are advised to detour onto Mason-Mongtomery Road to Western Row Road to Columbia Road.

Crews will put out arrow boards and signs to alert traffic of the lane closures.

Motorists are asked to reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic.
