HAMILTON COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - A man was arrested Friday after videotaping women using the restroom at Bethesda North Hospital in Hamilton County, officials say.
According to court documents, Daniel Schantz, 27, surreptitiously invaded the privacy of a female victim by recording her using the restroom with his cell phone without her consent or knowledge.
Police said the cell phone was hidden under a cabinet and was seen by the victim who then reported it to hospital security.
The security then retrieved the phone.
Documents stated that Schantz contacted security saying that he lost his cell phone and came in to the office to claim the phone.
Court documents claim Schantz allowed the security officers to view the videos that had been recorded in the restroom.
He was charged with Voyeurism and is currently out on a $5,000 bond.
