Cincinnati police said a woman who was shot late Tuesday is not cooperating with their investigation.
"She is not being very truthful," said Lt. Tim Brown, the night chief.
More than 15 shell casings and a crashed vehicle were found when officers responded to the 1800 block of Sunset Lane about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, he said.
The shooting victim told police she exited a vehicle and was walking to her apartment when she head several gunshots and was shot in the left leg, he said.
She was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where she is expected to recover, he said.
A vehicle was found crashed over an embankment nearby; the driver fled the scene, he said.
