CLEVES, OH (FOX19) - For the second time in a week, a person has been bitten by the same dog.
Police in Cleves tell FOX19 NOW a man was bitten Monday afternoon and a high school student was bitten on March 1.
The student told FOX19 NOW her attack happened around 11:30 in the morning.
"I was walking home from school and I walked passed a house on porter street and the dog crawled under the gate and just started
attacking me," said April Nance.
She was taken to the hospital suffering from bite injuries but she said they weren't severe.
Monday's victim provided graphic pictures of the attack to WLW Radio where the victim's boss told the station the victim was walking on Porter Street when the pit bull came through the fence and starting biting his hands.
A neighbor who did not want to be identified said she saw the attack and the dog came through the front gate. She told FOX19 NOW the dog jumped on the victim and started biting him.
Police Chief Rick Jones said the owner of the pit bull offered to pay all the medical costs of both victims.
The owner was cited by the SPCA but no charges have come from the most recent attack Monday because the victim chose not to press charges.
This is not the first time you had a pit bull attack in the Cleves area.
In 2013, one man was killed from a pit bull attack on Jordan Road. Two others were injured and three dogs had to be put down.
It's unclear if the dog in the most recent attack will have to be put down.
FOX19 NOW reached out to the SPCA for comment.
