CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Wide receiver Marvin Jones signed with the Detroit Lions Wednesday.
Jones signed with the Lions for a reported five-year, $40 million dollar deal. $17 million is fully guaranteed. Jones will make $27 million over the first three years, according to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The NFL kicks off free agency period at 4 p.m. Wednesday, and several Cincinnati Bengals could be up for grabs by other teams.
Adam Jones, Reggie Nelson, Mohamed Sanu, and Andre Smith are all listed as free agents this year.
According to overthecap.com, the Bengals enter the 2016 season a high amount of cap space available at over $36 million.
