West Chester teen sentenced in crash that killed friend

BUTLER COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

A West Chester teenage driver will spend six years behind bars in a crash that killed his friend the day after Christmas.

A judge sentenced Tristan Lacey, 18, Tuesday for his aggravated homicide plea.

Mark Valentine was in the passenger seat when Lacey lost control of his vehicle and crashed near the Beckett Ridge Golf Club.

An arrest report showed Lacey’s Blood Alcohol Content level was between .08 and .169.

Valentine, 18, was a senior at Cincinnati Christian School.
