KENTUCKY (FOX19) - Good news for Spring Break travelers: the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 at the Kentucky-Tennessee line have re-opened a week earlier than expected.
The southbound lanes opened about 9 p.m. Wednesday.
The northbound lanes of I-75 remain shut down. Tennessee state transportation officials have said they hope to open lane by March 24.
The highway shut down in both directions after rock and debris slid down an embankment Feb. 26.
