KENTUCKY (FOX19) - Teenagers in Kentucky may soon have to find another way to get that "summer glow."
A bill to ban the use tanning beds for those under 18 just cleared a senate committee.
Current Kentucky law allows 16 to 18-year-olds to tan with parents' permission and if a parent or guardian accompanies them.
Senate Bill 108 has a few more steps to pass before becoming law. It must clear the full senate, full house and be signed by Governor Matt Bevin.
