Mislabeling prompts recall of chocolate bars with peanuts
A Vermont company is recalling a batch of chocolate bars that went out with the wrong wrapper because they might cause a hazard to people with peanut allergies.
Lake Champlain Chocolates says its peanut bars were mistakenly labeled as fruit-and-nut bars, which have other kinds of nuts and dark chocolate.
The two-ounce bars were distributed in 24 states and the District of Columbia. The side of the wrapper has the number zero-five-zero-five-six. The company is offering refunds.
