Police: Woman caught in stolen van leased to orphanage

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Alexus James is facing charges after being caught in a stolen van.

The van is owned by Enterprise Car Rental and was leased St. Joseph Orphanage, said Lt. Steve Saunders, a spokesman for Cincinnati police.

Police arrested James in the stolen vehicle around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, records show.

She was caught in a Nissan Rogue on 3351 Reading Road, an arrest slip shows.

Her passenger was also taken into custody. Police said Kazeione Terry did not follow their commands.

He was told to show his hands, but he put them in his pockets and refused to get out of the vehicle after being asked three times.

Terry was arrested on a resisting arrest charge.
