12 people, 2 dogs rescued from Lower Price Hill apartment fire

LOWER PRICE HILL, OH (FOX19) -

Fire crews battled a fire that broke out in an apartment in Lower Price Hill Friday evening that displaced 12 people.

First responders were also able to attend to two dogs rescued from the blaze by giving them oxygen.  

Smoke could be seen filling the sky from the multifamily home in the 1240 block of State Avenue.

Officials worked to help make sure everyone living at the property exited safely. 

The families displaced are reportedly being assisted by the Red Cross. 

No injuries were reported.
