Dan Wells moves to weekday mornings

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Starting today, Dan Wells begins anchoring FOX19 NOW in the Morning weekdays 4:30-11:00 a.m.

Wells, formerly weekend morning anchor and weekday reporter, anchors alongside Kara Sewell, meteorologists Frank Marzullo, Jeff Creighton, Catherine Bodak, and traffic reporter Denise Johnson.

Wells joined FOX19 NOW in 2008 and has served in various capacities, including reporter for FOX19 NOW at 10:00 p.m. and debut anchor for the weekend edition of FOX19 NOW in the Morning, which launched in 2012.

“Dan has played an integral role in this station’s success, most recently on the weekend mornings,” said Debbie Bush, FOX19 NOW Vice President/General Manager. “He has an energetic and warm personality which will further complement our already fantastic morning team.”

Said Wells: “When I came to Cincinnati, it immediately felt like home. My family and I enjoy all the Tri-State offers. Most importantly, we enjoy the great people, and I’m honored to join Kara and the morning team at FOX19 NOW.”

Be sure to tune in again tonight 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. as Rob Williams begins co-anchoring  evenings.

Williams will anchor alongside Tricia Macke, Chief Meteorologist Steve Horstmeyer, Sports Director Joe Danneman, and Sports Anchor Jeremy Rauch.
