Cincinnati Children's employ golden retrievers

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center recently employed two facility dogs to their Division of Child Life and Integrative Care.

The golden retrievers, Drummer and Leica, will provide physical and emotional support to patients at Children's Hospital as part of the Animal Assisted Therapy Program.

According to hospital officials, Drummer and Leica have already impacted patients.

Hospital officials say some of patient families convinced that the dogs helped create a turning point in their child's care.
