1 in custody after police, SWAT search in Norwood

NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

A man was taken into custody when Norwood police conducted a drug-related search warrant at a residence early Tuesday.

Officers responded to a residence in the 5300 block of Globe Avenue about 5:45 a.m., a police dispatcher said.

Police and authorities with the Northeast Hamilton County Drug Task Force (DART) and Ohio's Bureau of Criminal Investigation executed the search with the assistance of a Hamilton County SWAT team, police said in a prepared statement.

No injuries were reported.

Charges are pending, police said.
