Judge orders local polls to stay open an extra hour

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Voting polls in Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren Counties remained open an extra hour for Tuesday's Ohio primary election.

A court order directing polls to stay open until 8:30 p.m. was issued due to traffic issues in the region, according to the Ohio Secretary of State's office. The United States District Court issued the order shortly after the scheduled 7:30 p.m. closing time.

Around 4:45 p.m., a car fell off the I-275 bridge connecting Ohio and Kentucky, causing major traffic delays for local commuters.
