CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Queen City's skyline ranked 10th in a list of America's 20 Most Beautiful Skylines.

'Thrillist Travel' writers determined the list based on aesthetics, recognizable buildings, and surrounding natural beauty.

You can’t debate the aesthetic beauty of the Cincinnati skyline starting with the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge, after which New York’s Brooklyn Bridge is modeled.

Across the Ohio River, you see the skyline book-ended by two brand new stadiums with a collection of architecturally distinct glass towers in between that reflect the water and the sunshine.

Making the top three includes Las Vegas, partially because of its combination of the other well-known buildings.

Chicago was runner-up. The site says the windy city has recognizable features plus the beauty of Lake Michigan.

Seattle's skyline ranked on top because of the space-age national landmark, Mount Rainier and the shores of Puget Sound.

By the way, New York City is ranked 9th.
