New Jersey girl slain after refusing to give man a kiss
New Jersey authorities say a 15-year-old girl was fatally shot after refusing a man's demand for a kiss.
Elisa Hernandez was killed late Tuesday night in an apartment in her housing complex in Atlantic City where she had gone to visit friends. A prosecutor says Alfred Bishop asked Hernandez to kiss him, but she laughed at him. Bishop allegedly then pulled out a pistol, put it to her head and demanded a kiss. According to witnesses, Hernandez refused, and pushed the gun away twice before Bishop allegedly shot her through the left eye and fled. She died at the scene.
Bishop was captured in Washington DC at his aunt's home.
