Missing Middletown woman case now a homicide investigation

MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) - The case involving a missing Middletown woman is now considered a homicide investigation.

Middletown Police say Lindsay Bogan, 30, was last seen on Sept. 13.

While investigators say Bogan's body has not been found, they are following new several leads in the case.

A tip recently led police to search an open field in the 2900 block of Cincinnati-Dayton Road. They have not said if any evidence was uncovered.

"Lindsay Bogan has been missing for six months and we would like to be able to bring peace of mind to her family as well as to bring those responsible to justice," Middletown Police said in a release Wednesday.

Officials say Bogan was last seen by her boyfriend, Eric Sexton, getting into a silver Dodge Durango on Central Avenue at Baltimore Street. Sexton reported her missing the next day.

A $2,500 reward is offered for tips leading to Bogan's location. Anyone with information is asked to call the task force commander at 513-425-7747.
