St Patrick's Day celebrations underway

COVINGTON, KENTUCKY (FOX19) -

St. Patrick's Day celebrations are underway in the Tri State.

Some places starting as early as 5 a.m.

Molly Malone's Irish Pub & Restaurant in Covington opened their doors at 7 a.m. for Kegs and Eggs.

The first 100 people through the door were to receive a souvenir shirt.

Molly Malone's employees say they expect hundreds of people to come  for the event that will go on throughout the evening.

They say there will be plenty of drink specials and even an extra tented area for folks to partake in live music, dancing, and Irish food.

There are plenty of places celebrating St. Patrick's Day in the Cincinnati-area.
