NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) - Law enforcement will be on the lookout for impaired drivers across Hamilton County this weekend.
They are holding two checkpoints Friday night.
The Hamilton County OVI Task Force and Cincinnati police will man one operation along the 2400 block of Harrison Avenue in Westwood from 9 p.m. Friday until 1 a.m. Saturday.
Since January 2015, 164 drivers have been arrested for OVI and 100 OVI-related crashes have occurred in this area, according to the task force.
Another checkpoint will begin at 10 p.m. on Montgomery Road near Wayland Avenue in Norwood. That operation will run until 1 a.m. Saturday
Patrols also will be stepped in up the areas of both checkpoints and throughout the county over the weekend.
If you plan to consume alcohol, police warn to designate a driver or make other travel arrangements.
