A Middletown mother entered a guilty plea to involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of her 2-year-old daughter.

Rebekah Kinner, 23, watched her boyfriend beat daughter Kinsley and did nothing to stop the assault, court documents state.

Kinner also pleaded guilty to permitting child abuse and endangering children during her Butler County court appearance Friday.

Bradley Young, 27, is accused of beating the girl so badly she had no brain activity and was on a ventilator before her Dec. 4 death.

"Rebecca Kinner stated that she watched her boyfriend (Brad Young) shook and punched her two-year-old daughter in the head multiple times the day before she stopped breathing,” a criminal complaint states. “Rebecca made no attempt to come to her defense."

In February, Kinner gave birth to a son while in jail.
