CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Horseshoe Casino is going dark for a good cause.
Saturday night from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., Horseshoe Cincinnati will shut off its iconic 80 foot marquee sign.
The main entrance chandelier will also be shut off and many interior lights will dim.
It's in support of the World Wildlife Fund's Earth Hour which involves millions across 7,000 cities in 157 countries.
It's a collective statement of concern about client change. More than 10,000 world landmarks will be going dark.
This is the third year the casino has taken part in Earth hour that started in Australia back in 2007.
The casino will remain open during the hour it goes dark.
