BRUSSELS (RNN) - A massive manhunt is underway in Belgium as authorities searched for suspects in the terrorist attacks at Zaventem Airport and Maelbeek metro station that killed 34 people.
Brothers Khalid and Bahim Bakraoui were among the Brussels Airport bombers, Belgian broadcaster RTBF is reporting.
Though the brothers were known by police for past crimes, those crimes were not related to terrorism, according to RTBF.
Khalid El Bakraoui had rented an apartment that police raided last week in an operation that led to Paris attacks suspect Salah Abdeslam.
At a raid in Schaarbeek, a northern Brussels suburb, police discovered a nail bomb, chemicals and an ISIS flag.
Police also released an image from security video of the suspect the believe helped detonate explosives.
