MADISON COUNTY, OHIO (FOX19 NOW) -

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is seeking tips about a hit-skip that seriously injured a Cincinnati man and killed a man from Cleves.

The crash happened more than one year ago on Interstate 70 in Madison County.

A semi-truck driver did not stop after hitting Douglas Griffin and Michael West in the early morning hours of March 3, 2015. West was helping Griffin with his disabled vehicle on the shoulder of the interstate, troopers said.

Griffin was pronounced dead at the scene. West is still recovering from his injuries.

Officials say they’ve followed several unsuccessful leads in the case.

Anyone with information about the semi-truck or driver is asked to call OSHP at 614-799-6633.
