Thomas More's Moss, Owings and Coach Hans earn national honors

CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY (FOX19) -

Thomas More senior guard/forward Sydney Moss was named the D3hoops.com Player of the Year a third straight season and earned first team All-American honors on Wednesday, with her 22.4 points per game and 7.3 rebounds a game.

Jeff Hans was named D3hoops.com Coach of the Year a second straight season after leading Thomas More, who has won 65 consecutive games, back to the Division III national championship game.

Simon Kenton grad and Saints sophomore guard Abby Owings earned fourth team All-American accolades for leading the team in assists and averaging 15 points a game this season, second best on the team.

Top ranked Thomas More plays seventh ranked Tufts University in the national title game on Monday, April 4, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis at 6 p.m. The Saints are looking to win back-to-back national championships.
