CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Defensive tackle Brandon Thompson is staying in stripes after briefly testing the free agent waters.
The signing was confirmed through Thompson's agent, Element Sports Group.
The deal is one-year with incentives attached to playing time, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting.
Thompson tore his ACL the final week of the regular season and the incentive-laden deal is presumably about the uncertainty of how Thompson's knee will respond.
The defensive tackle was drafted by the Bengals in the third-round of the 2012 draft.
