Bond set for man charged in Easter Sunday shooting

WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

A suspect involved in an Easter Sunday shooting faced a judge Monday morning.

The confrontation between three men happened at Queen City Avenue near Timbercrest. Witnesses reported hearing eight gunshots around 9 a.m.

Shaveh Mincey, 22, attempted to rob the victim at gunpoint before shooting the victim five times in the forearm and torso, according to court documents.

All three men were hurt in the shooting, police said. Two were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Mincey is charged with aggravated robbery and felonious assault. His bond was set at $40,000. 

Gary Slone, 35, has been charged with aggravated robbery in connection with the incident, investigators said.
