Nine people injured in AA Highway crash

BRACKEN COUNTY, KY (FOX19) -

Nine people were injured in an accident involving a semi-truck on the AA Highway in Bracken County Sunday.  

Emergency crews were dispatched to the AA Highway near Eden Ridge Road around 12:30 p.m.

Officials on scene confirmed that nine people total were injured in the accident and three people were transported to the hospital via medical helicopter.

Investigators said there are no fatalities to report as of 8:30 p.m. 

One victim is reportedly in critical condition. 

The AA was shut down in both directions until just after 10 p.m. as crews worked to clear the scene.
