EAST END (FOX19) -

Police are adding new charges to a man already in jail on a slew of alleged crimes.

Dominique Hardy, according to police is now connected to a robbery and shooting last year.

Back in December of 2015, police believe Hardy pulled out a semi-automatic hand gun and shot a male victim and his mother along Eastern Avenue.

Police said he shot the man in his leg then fired a shot striking his mother. Next, police said he killed the family dog.

Detectives claim Hardy put the gun at point blank range to the victim's head firing a shot but the gun was empty.

Both of the victims were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

FOX19 Now was also first to tell you about the Offer Up App robbery last week, which police also have connected Hardy too.

Police say Hardy lured a man thinking he was going to buy his cell phone. Instead, police explained Hardy pulled out a gun, made the victim drive around block before returning to the meet location and stealing around $2300 worth of electronic equipment.

To terrify the victim even more,  police said Hardy demanded the victims license and took a photo of it and reportedly said, "I know who you are and where you live if you call the boys I will kill you."

Hardy is being held on a number of charges and his collective bail is more than 1.7 million dollars.

His next court date is on Thursday.
