CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Bengals have reached a deal with veteran wide receiver Brandon LaFell, according to a report by NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.
LaFell played in 11 games for the New England Patriots last season with 37 receptions for 515 yards and 0 touchdowns.
A third round draft pick out of LSU in 2010, LaFell spent his first four seasons in Carolina. LaFell spent the next two years in New England including the 2014-15 season when LaFell had 74 receptions for 953 yards and 7 touchdowns in the Patriots' Super Bowl championship winning season.
With the addition of LaFell, the Bengals fill a much needed gap at receiver with the loss of Marvin Jones, who signed with Detroit, and Mo Sanu, who signed with Atlanta, in free agency.
