CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Antonelli College's Practical Nursing Program at the Cincinnati campus has been suspended by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

According to a press release, Antonelli College is complying fully with the Ohio Board of Nursing about issues that the college's leadership became aware of on Wednesday.

The issues that led to the suspension of the program have not been disclosed at this time.

Antonelli College said it is working to contact other schools to place affected students in new programs.

"While this situation is extremely upsetting for all of us, we will do everything in our power to assist with the transition of the affected students to other schools of practical nursing and we will work with the Ohio Board of Nursing while following their directive to suspend the program immediately," President of Antonelli College Mary Ann Davis said.
