CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Reds claimed pitcher Dan Straily off of waivers on Friday.
The right-hander is 13-13 with a combined 4.60 era in 52 games (45 starts), during his four MLB seasons.
The Reds claimed Straily off the waivers from the San Diego Padres. He was traded to the Padres on Monday from the Houston Astros.
With the addition of Straily, the Reds spring training roster sits at 36 players. The team needs to trim its roster to 25 by Monday.
Straily, 27, previously pitched for Oakland, Chicago and Houston.
