Pink Ribbon Girls getting financial boost from local shirt company

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Local company 26shirts is raising money for the Pink Ribbon Girls starting on the Reds Opening Day.

26shirts was founded by Del Reid in Buffalo, NY in 2015 and helps charities across the county raise money in their community.

Reid has since grown the organization to Chicago, Pittsburgh, and now Cincinnati.

The charity sells limited edition sports themed t-shirts every two weeks. The Pink Ribbon Girls will get $8 from each sale in Cincinnati.

Twenty-six shirts are sold per year and 26 beneficiaries are helped each year.

For Reds Opening Day, Cincinnati will have the opportunity to buy a limited edition shirt and help out a local organization.

26shirts has raised nearly $225,000.
