Two people were arrested involved in a shoplifting offense at the Eastgate Walmart at the same time a bomb threat was called in to the business Thursday, Union Township police said.
Mark D Whallen and Tabitha Fehrenbach are in the Clermont County Jail facing one count of aggravated robbery.
Union Township Police Department said the Walmart located on Eastgate Square Dr. was evacuated after an anonymous caller reported a bomb threat around 3:35 p.m.
Detectives had reasons to believe both suspects were also involved in the threat called into the store.
Union Township police said detectives located and interviewed Whallen and Fehrenbach. Both were incarcerated in the jail.
No explosives were found and no one was injured in the incident, according to police.
The Union Township Police Department, Ohio State Highway Patrol and a K9 Unit responded to the scene.
The investigation is still ongoing.
