PRICE HILL (FOX19) -

A police chase ended in a crash with the alleged fleeing motorist injured late Thursday.

A woman went into the Cincinnati Police District 3 headquarters, saying the driver of another car pointed a gun at her, police said.

Officers spotted the car she described about 11 p.m. and attempted to pull it over.  The driver refused to stop, police said.

A six-block chase ensued in Price Hill before it came to a stop at West 8th Street and Enright Avenue. The vehicle hit a fire hydrant, and the hydrant went airborne, hit a parked car and landed in the yard of a home, according to police.

The fleeing vehicle continued on, struck a pole and came to a stop.

The driver, a 17-year-old male, suffered a broken leg and bruising, police said.

He was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center and is facing multiple charges.
