About two million Poles expected to travel for papal funeral
If the numbers hold true, Pope John Paul's homeland will be very well represented at his funeral. An informal government survey of travel operators shows about two million Poles are expected to travel to Rome for Friday's funeral.
Extra buses, trains and flights are being scheduled. Poland's national airline would normally only have one flight to Rome today. Instead, there will be five -- and that's only because Italian authorities won't allow more flights.
