Man heard on Cincinnati radio dies

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Radio personality Doug Banks has died at the age of 57.

His popular "The Doug Banks Show" was heard weekday mornings on "101.1 The Wiz."

His show was replaced by the "Russ Parr Morning Show" in 2004 when the radio station changed ownership.

Banks hosted a nationally syndicated radio show for 16 years.

CNN commentator Roland Martin tweeted that he was suffering from failing kidneys.

Other sources have cited complications of diabetes.

FOX19 NOW's Rob Williams talked with people who would work with him when he was in town. They all said he was a great guy, and will be greatly missed.
