Officials ID victim in fatal Mt. Airy crash

MT. AIRY, OH (FOX19) -

Police have identified the victim in a fatal single-vehicle accident in Mt. Airy on Thursday.

Officials were dispatched at around 3:40 p.m., for a car that struck a telephone pole on Colerain Avenue at Goldenrod Drive, near Kirby Avenue.

Emergency crews pronounced Ro Van Bo, 79, dead at the scene.

He was the only one in the vehicle.

Bo was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the Cincinnati Police Department. Alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in the crash.

The Cincinnati Traffic Unit is investigating.
