FOX19 - Delta Airlines is no longer charging customers to speak with a human being while booking flights.
Delta had been charging $25 per ticket when booking over the phone and $35 when buying at the airport.
"This – and every decision we make – is based on engaging with our customers and employees every day," said Charisse Evans, Delta's vice president for reservation sales and customer care in a statement.
This announcement comes at the same time that Delta announced a better than expected quarterly earnings. First quarter profits up 27% to $946 million dollars.
