GEORGETOWN, KY (FOX19) -

A Brown County man is behind bars after he allegedly attempted to exchange drugs for sexual acts with a young teen.

Jeffrey Wayne Gill was arrested on Tuesday at a Dairy Queen in Georgetown, KY by an undercover cop from the Attorney General's Cyber Crimes Unit.

Officers say Gill, 53, posted an advertisement online seeking a "young teen" to perform sexual acts in exchange for drugs, according to the Kentucky AG's Office. He allegedly rented a room in Georgetown to take the victim.

Arresting officers found marijuana and prescription drugs in his truck, the release stated.

Gill, from Aberdeen, OH, is charged with prohibited use of an electronic communication system to procure a minor for a sex offense, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
