Stuck Deliveryman

Deliveryman found in New York elevator 80 hours later

A Chinese food deliveryman in New York says he screamed, kicked on a door and slept -- for almost 80 hours in an elevator.

The deliveryman (Ming Kuang Chen) stepped into an elevator Friday in a city high-rise apartment building after making his deliveries -- only to have it get stuck. He went undiscovered until early yesterday. The building had been searched door-to-door by police and by building security, but nobody found him.

The man told a Taiwan-based TV network that he'd pushed the alarm button and screamed for help. Stuck without food or water, he says he "just kept sleeping" because he didn't know what else to do. Once he was found, he was given water at the scene before being treated for dehydration at a medical center.
