Is cereal losing its crunch?

Cincinnati, OH (AP, FOX19) - Cereal is losing its crunch!

Consumers are looking at snack bars and yogurt for breakfast instead of cereal, according to a new study from Lux Research.

Sales have fallen from 2011, when the market peaked at $8.54 billion in sales.

Kids also used to been big consumers but now only half of 2-to-11-year-olds still opt for cereal in the morning.
