Juvenile charged after admitting to firing shots at Delhi home

DELHI TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

A 17-year-old is charged after he allegedly fired shots into a Delhi Township home early Tuesday morning. 

Shots were fired into a home on Fehr Rd. near Greenwell Ave. around 3:30 a.m., Delhi Township Police said. No one was inside the house at the time of the incident. 

On Wednesday, officers responded to the 5200 block of Old Oak Trail for two suspicious subjects in a car around 2:10 a.m. Officers found a gun that match the caliber from the shooting the day before, accoridng to police. 

One of the suspects, a 17-year-old juvenile, admitted to police that the gun was used in the shooting on Fehr Rd. and that he was the shooter. 

He is charged with improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, improperly discharging firearm at, or into, a habitation, carrying a concealed weapon, trafficking marijuana and criminal mischief.
