COLUMBUS, OH (FOX19) - Court records show 19-year-old Mia Shamis and 21-year-old Connor Jeffries are each being held on at least a $1 million dollar bond.

Columbus Police arrested them Wednesday for allegedly shooting two men dead in a drug deal gone wrong.  Police identified the victims as 20-year-old Gary Francis and 21-year-old James Miller.

Investigators say they were shot in their car in broad-daylight.

All four people involved graduated from the same Columbus area high school in 2013 or 2014.  It wasn't immediately clear what led to the shooting or what drug it involved.

Investigators say they acted on the many tips they received and reviewed camera footage before arresting the couple.
