HARRISON, OH (FOX19) -

A man was arrested after he beat up his grandmother, breaking her collar bone and causing a large cut on her head, according to court documents.

Officials said Matthew Kelly, 26, was drunk off beer when he got into a dispute with his grandmother in the 400 block of N. Vine Street in Harrison. The argument moved from outside into the house when Kelly threw his grandmother into the kitchen counter multiple times.

According to the affidavit, Kelly then grabbed his grandmother and smashed her head into a large glass sugar container causing a wound that took four staples to close.

Police said Kelly would not answer any questions, but readily stated that "the b**** deserved it and she keeps pushing my buttons."

Kelly has been charged with felonious assault and domestic violence.
