CPD working shooting on Beekman Street

Cincinnati Police Crime Scene Investigators are working to figure out who fired multiple shots into a Chevrolet Impala around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The car has Kentucky license plates and is a late model car.

The Impala is parked behind Mr. Gene's Dog House, a restaurant, where CSI officers are collecting evidence and fingerprints. We do not know if that's where the shooting happened and there are no evidence markers indicating she'll casings were present.

If a revolver was used, there would be no shell casings for police to collect. The lack of shell casings could also indicate the shooting happened at another location.

Police are interviewing people around the restaurant's parking lot and at a car wash next door to the restaurant to figure out what happened.

As of this report, we have not received any further details whether anyone was shot. An unidentified CPD officer on scene tells FOX 19 NOW police "don't know if anyone was shot yet."

Investigators can be seen dusting the doors and windows of the car for fingerprints.

Marked police cruisers are circling the blocks surrounding the shooting.

We'll update this story as soon as more information is available.
